Three-time Spanish champion, Extremadura’s Ángel Santos, embarks on a new season full of motorsport challenges in the Iberian Supercars and Supercars España series.
The standout news is Ángel Santos's return to an international racing program. Iberian Supercars is gaining momentum among teams, a championship held across Spain and Portugal with a high level of competition. Chefo Sport by PetroGold will be on the grid with one of its Ligier JS2 R cars for Santos. Additionally, some rounds will offer double points, also counting towards the Supercars España, with the round at Jarama Circuit in June exclusively scoring for the Spanish series.
The championship, organized by Iberian promoter Race Ready, kicks off in April at Algarve, then moves through Madrid, Valencia, Jerez, and concludes in November at Estoril Circuit in Portugal. All races in both Iberian Supercars and Supercars España will be broadcast live on DAZN, allowing fans to follow the action on television.
Ángel Santos's Ligier JS2 R will debut its 2025 livery this weekend at IFEMA in Madrid, where it will be on display from February 21-23 at the “Racing Auto” motorsport show.
