Toyota Gazoo Racing Caetano Portugal has now officially confirmed its complete driver line-up for the 2025 season. While the pairings for the Portuguese Cross-Country Rally Championship and the Portuguese Rally Championship had been set for some time, the missing piece of the puzzle was Francisco Mora’s teammate for the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade (CPV). That spot has now been filled by Francisco Abreu, adding another champion to an already impressive roster.

This marks the return of a highly successful duo to the Iberian circuits. Mora and Abreu previously clinched national, Iberian, and Spanish GT titles together in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Their proven track record of success underlines their pedigree, and after three years apart, the "Francisco duo" is back in action.

Francisco Mora was already unveiled as a Toyota driver at the official season launch of Toyota Gazoo Racing Caetano Portugal. He arrives off the back of a runner-up finish in the 2024 CPV, having battled for the title until the final round. A six-time national champion, Mora is one of the standout names in Iberian motorsport, with titles across both Portugal and Spain.

Francisco Abreu, meanwhile, returns to racing after a year out, following his triumphant national and Iberian title wins in 2023. With three national titles, plus a Spanish championship and multiple Iberian GT and GT4 crowns to his name, Abreu is one of the most decorated drivers on the grid, standing shoulder to shoulder with Mora in terms of accolades.

Toyota Gazoo Racing Caetano Portugal has made its ambitions for the 2025 season crystal clear. With a driver pairing accustomed to winning and a history of shared success, the team is setting its sights firmly on national and Iberian titles.

Mora expressed his enthusiasm about reuniting with Abreu and his excitement for the season ahead: "I was already thrilled to be part of Toyota Gazoo Racing Caetano Portugal, the biggest and most ambitious motorsport project in Portugal. The only thing missing was a strong teammate, and I’m delighted that Francisco Abreu is the choice. I know Francisco well – we’ve achieved great things together in the past, and I believe this is the perfect duo to begin our journey with the GR Supra GT4 EVO 2. I have complete confidence in him, and I’m sure we’ll be fighting for the top positions."

Abreu echoed his teammate’s enthusiasm, expressing his excitement about returning to competition in one of the most exciting projects in Iberian motorsport: "After a year away from racing, I’m really happy to be back and to be part of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Caetano Portugal programme for 2025. It’s one of the best, if not the best, motorsport projects in Iberia, and with Francisco Mora – who needs no introduction – I believe we have a great shot at success. Together, we’ve already won national, Iberian, and Spanish titles. We’ll have a very competitive GR Supra GT4 EVO 2, prepared by Sports & You – a team I know well – and I’m highly motivated to help the team achieve its goals for 2025."
