ProTech Motorsport, a newly established team in Portugal, will compete in the 2025 season across all three Supercars Endurance series – Iberian Supercars, the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade, and Supercars España – organised by Race Ready.
Heading ProTech Motorsport as General Director is Moisés Martins, who brings over 30 years of experience in motorsport, having previously led Renault Sport in Portugal.
"We are highly motivated by this new challenge. The team is new and is working hard to provide drivers with everything they need to perform well. I believe we will succeed in this new adventure", said Moisés Martins.
He continued: "the championship is very well organised, featuring a highly competitive grid, top teams, great cars, involved manufacturers, and renowned drivers. Our main goal is to establish our team’s presence and provide exposure for our sponsors who are supporting us in this venture. I believe everything will go well”.
ProTech Motorsport will compete in the GTC category, Cup division, with a Ferrari F430 Challenge. The team has already secured one car line up with two drivers – one Portuguese and one British – and is currently in negotiations with additional interested drivers for a second Ferrari F430 Challenge.
With an increasingly strong field, the 2025 season of Iberian Supercars, the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade, and Supercars España is set to begin at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve on the 5th and 6th of April. The official Test Day will take place at the Autódromo do Estoril on the 22nd of March.
