Following the conclusion of race two at Autódromo do Estoril, a number of penalties have been issued, which have changed the race results.
Monteiros Competições pair Rui Miritta and Tiago Gonçalves finished second overall, but 165 seconds were added to their time for not fulfilling the required handicap pit stop time, dropping them to 18th place. Nevertheless, the Porsche duo retained their victory in the Cup category.
Race one winners Bernardo Sousa and Carlos Vieira crossed the finish line in second place in the GT4 Pro category, but a contact with the Mercedes AMG GT4 of Guillermo Aso and Filip Vava cost them a 45-second penalty, pushing them to ninth place in their division.
This promoted Promotion Motorsport duo Nerea Martí and José de los Milagros (BMW M4 GT4) to second in GT4 Pro, and Veloso Motorsport drivers Miguel Lobo and Francisco Mora (Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS) to the third step of the GT4 Pro podium.
The Iberian Supercars will return in Valencia on September 28 and 29, allowing for a summer break. The Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade will return in October at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.
