A Year of Consolidation for TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Caetano Portugal in Competition, Building on the Success of Toyota Customer Racing.
2024 marked the beginning of the “Toyota Era” in national and Iberian circuit racing. The GR Supra GT4 Evo made its debut in the Iberian Supercars, Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade, and Supercars Jarama RACE, where Toyota delivered standout performances.
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Caetano Portugal fielded a top-tier driver pairing, with Carlos Vieira and Bernardo Sousa behind the wheel of the Japanese GT. The duo secured a race victory and two podium finishes in the team's maiden season in this highly competitive series, which has now established itself as one of the leading GT championships in Europe.
Toyota’s achievements in 2024 were not solely attributed to its factory team but also to the outstanding performance of various squads under the Toyota Customer Racing programme. Among them, Speedy Motorsport dominated the scene, securing GT titles in Portugal, Spain, and Iberia, with the GR Supra GT4 Evo playing a pivotal role in their triumphs.
For 2025, Toyota remains committed to its motorsport ambitions, with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Caetano Portugal once again fielding a factory entry, led by Francisco Mora.
The second driver will be announced soon.
