ASO GEARS UP FOR AN EXCITING 2025 WITH NM RACING TEAM

The Aragonese Guillermo Aso driver will focus his sports program on the Iberian Supercars, which will see him compete once again on some of the best tracks in the peninsula behind the wheel of a Mercedes-AMG GT4 from NM Racing Team.

Guillermo Aso will compete in the Iberian Supercars during the 2025 season, aiming once again to be a contender for the title in the main circuit championship held in the Iberian Peninsula. Aso, who finished as runner-up in the same competition last year, will once again rely on the capabilities of one of the Mercedes-AMG GT4s managed by NM Racing Team, one of the most powerful teams worldwide with the star brand. Aso is already an excellent connoisseur of the Iberian Supercars, having competed in it since 2021 and consistently being in the fight for the championship, with an extensive record of victories and podium finishes. Aso's teammate, who will share driving duties in the Mercedes-AMG GT4, will be announced soon.

The International Algarve Circuit will kick off the new season on the weekend of April 5-6, followed by the always crowded event at Jarama on May 30 and June 1, just before the summer break. After the summer break, the Circuit de Valencia will restart the season on the weekend of September 13-14. The Iberian Supercars will then move to southern Spain, specifically to the Jerez Circuit, for the penultimate race on November 1-2, while Estoril, near the Portuguese capital Lisbon, will host the season finale where the new champions of 2025 will be crowned on the weekend of November 29-30. As in the previous year, all Iberian Supercars races will be broadcast live on the sports channel DAZN and streamed on YouTube.

“I am happy to compete once again in such a competitive championship as the Iberian Supercars and with such a prestigious team as NM Racing Team, where I feel at home. I want to thank all the sponsors and collaborators who have made it possible for another season,” Aso explained, adding, “I am sure that this year we have an even more exciting project ahead, and we hope it will continue to grow in 2026 or 2027, as our goal is to participate in a prestigious event like the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where I would be the first Aragonese driver to compete.”
