Araújo Competição has revealed its driver line-up for this year’s campaign in the Iberian Supercars and Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade, competing with the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo.
The Portuguese team has reinforced its commitment for the 2025 season by acquiring an additional Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo. This new car joins the one used last year by Bruno Pereira and Gonçalo Araújo, who showed consistent progress throughout the season as they became more familiar with the British-built car.
This duo will continue to share one Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo, entered in the new GT4 Pro-Bronze division. The team anticipates further development from Bruno Pereira, who made his motorsport debut in 2024, under the guidance of the experienced Gonçalo Araújo, a former driver for A1 Team Portugal.
The newly acquired car for the 2025 season will compete in the GT4 Bronze division, driven by Vasco Oliveira and Francisco Carvalho. Oliveira made his series debut last year with Araújo Competição in an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4, while Carvalho, a respected name in Portuguese motorsport, raced in 2024 with a Mercedes AMG GT4.
The Lisbon-based team is enthusiastic about the upcoming season. “For 2025, our team will feature the pairings of Vasco Oliveira / Francisco Carvalho and Bruno Pereira / Gonçalo Araújo. Supported by a motivated technical team, they are determined to fight for top positions in both the GT4 Pro and GT4 Bronze divisions. Our goal is clear: to deliver the best possible performance, not just for ourselves but also for all our partners and sponsors”, said Gonçalo Araújo, Team Principal and driver for Araújo Competição, who also has an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 available for rent.

The official pre-season test will take place at the Autódromo do Estoril on 22 March, followed by the season opener at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve on 5-6 April.
